Brian McDonald
Author of critically acclaimed My Father's Gun

Brian McDonald was born in the Bronx and grew up in Rockland County. He worked his way as a bartender through degrees at Fordham University and Columbia University School of Journalism. His critically acclaimed first book published in 1999 was titled, " My Father's Gun-- One Family, Three Badges, One Hundred Years in the NYPD. " He currently lives in the Yorkville section of Manhattan and is working on his third book.
