Security Detail for The Queen Mary 2 & The Queen Elizabeth 2

The Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth 2 created history when they sailed from New York Harbor together today. This particular trip was the Queen Mary 2's maiden voyage, and the Queen Elizabeth 2's final voyage. 

Security was extremely tight and Launch 5 was assigned a post off the Statue of Liberty as part of the security detail maintaining the security perimeter. The day was capped off with a fireworks display in the Harbor.
