1966 — Launch 5

Launch 5 was built in 1966 in Matton Shipyard in Cohoes, NY. The vessel was designed by the famed marine architect Philip Rhodes. The photos below were given to us courtesy of Thomas Urquhart.

On November 19th, 1966, Launch 5 was dedicated. Henry's wife and oldest son attended, and a priest said a blessing over the vessel before its maiden voyage across New York Harbor.
